Fixing Google Chrome tab freeze

Since ever I've been using Google Chrome as my primary browser. Much to my satisfaction... until...

Somewhere between versions 20 and 23 something went horribly wrong... Google Chrome started freezing tabs... duplicate tab to unfreeze, again and again... really really annoying.

A Google search later I learned it had probably something to do with the onboard flash player, called pepperflash. I disabled this onboard flash player here: chrome://plugins/ and indeed, all was fine again. My plugins looked like this (show all details) and I used the installed flash player on my computer instead of the onboard one.

Then, Chrome 24 came along. The horror! My solution didn't work anymore! Aaaarggg!!!! I downloaded Firefox (imagine that!), even considered IE (for like .2 seconds).

I started the search for a new solution. Fortunately I found one that works very well. Even in Chrome 25 beta which I'm currently using. HURRAY!!

My solution: add  --disable-accelerated-compositing to the exe link. So I'm starting Chrome with a path that looks like this:
C:\Users\Tom\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe --disable-accelerated-compositing
I even have the onboard Pepperflash player activated now, no problems anymore!

I'm really hoping Google fixes this issue as soon as possible! Hopefully my solution can also help others with the same problems as mine.
